It's time to nominate your Male and Female Runner of the Year. The award presentation will be at the Southern Colorado Runners Annual Banquet January 28, 2012. Nominations this year will be available online, with a deadline of January 1, 2012. You can nominate as many people as you want both male and female as long as they are a club member. A Screening Committee will select the top 3 nominees, both male and female, for online voting by club members. The committee will select the most well-rounded club members.

• Must be a current club member
• Has the nominee had any community and/or club involvement in the past year?
• Has the nominee some sort of physical participation/achievement in the past year, either running, walking or multisport?

2) What contributions has this person made to the community and/or running club? Note that these contributions do not have to be SCR related. Activities such as coaching youth, helping another non-profit, working in a food pantry, or volunteering time at a school qualify too.

3) What has the nominee done this past year that sets them apart?

a) Have they won overall, placed in their age group, a first-time accomplishment?

b) Have they completed unique or different types of race(s)/event(s)?

c) Have they had to overcome an obstacle or adversity where their running/walking, etc. helped them make it through? How has this person been an inspiration to you and others because of it?
